Ultrasound Scan

Trans vaginal scans can be used to assess the lining of womb if there has been any abnormal bleeding, but they can also be carried out to check for fibroids or ovarian cysts. We can carry out a basic ultrasound scan at the time of your consultation, and we can also refer to a specialist scanning clinic for more detailed scanning including screening of the ovaries.
